He began as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in 1989, and later served as a Lecturer in Computer Science at the University of Waikato in New Zealand from 1993 to 1994. His professional journey also includes roles such as Chief Technology Officer at Genescient Corp and Chief Science Officer at Aidyia Limited. In 2017, Ben founded SingularityNET, a decentralized platform aiming to democratize artificial intelligence by leveraging blockchain technology.
