She earned a B.A. in psychology from Seattle University and both an M.A. and Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology with a focus on Multicultural and Community Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles. Dr. Hollins became licensed in Washington State in 2000 and has over 25 years of experience working with ethnically diverse populations. In 2008, Dr. Hollins co-founded Cultures Connecting, a consulting firm dedicated to advancing equity and social justice. The organization provides professional development, keynotes, leadership coaching, and consulting services to individuals and organizations committed to excellence through equity and social justice. Dr. Hollins' work is deeply informed by her personal experiences as a multiracial individual from a diverse family background. She emphasizes the importance of recognizing one's privilege and biases and advocates for authentic conversations about race. In addition to her consulting work, Dr. Hollins has authored several influential works, including Inside Out: The Equity Leader’s Guide to Undoing Institutional Racism.
