His service to the nation spans over two decades, during which he commanded at every level from platoon to battalion, with multiple operational deployments including Operation Desert Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Iraqi Freedom. In 2007, while serving in Iraq, Greg's life changed dramatically when he lost both of his legs to a roadside bomb. His recovery and persistence in the face of adversity have made him a powerful voice for perseverance and determination. Instead of retreating from public life, Greg chose to lead by example, earning a master's degree in Information Systems from Webster University and a second master's degree in Policy Management from Georgetown University. GregÕs leadership abilities extend beyond the battlefield. He served as the Director of the U.S. Army Wounded Warrior Program and was an integral part of the New York Giants' Super Bowl-winning season in 2008 as a source of motivation and inspiration.
