Jeneisha Harris serves as a HBCU White House All Star Ambassador, an IGNITE National Year 2 Fellow, the founder of Reading for Liberation, co-founder and president of The National Black Action Committee, Nashville Community Bail Fund organizer/Court Watch coordinator, and the founder of the Barbara J. Harris Scholarship. She is an active activists who was apart of the protest to remove the Nathan Bedford Forrest confederate statue and was banned from the Tennessee State Capital building. Jeneisha continues with grit and vigor to advocate her message through her writings and actions.

Jeneisha Harris is a dedicated advocate for social justice and education, whose work spans several influential organizations and initiatives. Her journey began with a passion for service and a commitment to uplifting marginalized communities. As a first-generation college graduate and sharp thinker, she delved into activism during her collegiate years, leading her to significant roles that impact various facets of civic engagement and education. Currently, Jeneisha serves as a HBCU White House All-Star Ambassador, where she represents and elevates the voices of Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Her role here, bridging national policy discussions with grassroots initiatives, highlights her ability to connect with diverse communities and leaders. As an IGNITE National Year 2 Fellow, Jeneisha continues to empower young women to on serve as leaders and change-makers in their communities. Her entrepreneurial spirit is evident in her founding of Reading for Liberation, an initiative aimed at using literature as a tool for empowerment and education. Through this program, she fosters transformative dialogues and inspires individuals to critically engage with the world around them. Additionally, Jeneisha co-founded The National Black Action Committee, where she serves as its president. This organization focuses on political advocacy and community empowerment for Black communities across the nation. Jeneisha also works with the Nashville Community Bail Fund as an organizer and Court Watch coordinator. Her efforts in this role focus on promoting justice reform and supporting individuals and families impacted by the criminal justice system.
