When it comes to tech innovation, many companies — including banks — focus on the wrong priorities, according to Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple, the inventor of the Apple II and the universal remote control.

In a fireside chat at SourceMedia’s DigIn conference here, Wozniak said firms tend to make decisions based on shareholders, profits and the bottom line. What they should be focused on is what their customers actually want and can easily use.
