By 2022, it is no secret that women desire to see themselves in the board room and on stage. According to a 2019 study by Bizzabo, keynote speakers tend to be primarily male, with a whopping 66.8% taking the stage. There are still some ways to go to even the gender playing field.

A couple of weeks ago, author and feminist Mikki Kendall sat down with PBS sponsored podcast and virtual book club, It’s Lit [Unabridged]. The season premiered with the diversity consultant, as she shared how we can create a better vision of the past of the world we currently live in.
Mikki was also quoted on OkayPlayer’s article covering critical race theory and told News Channel 3 the truth about blaccents, describing it as the fake accent racists and what cultural appropriators use when they mimic Black people.
