Pat Falvey is the first person in the world to have completed climbing the seven highest mountains on the Seven Continents twice including Mt Everest from Nepal and Tibet.

Pat Falvey is one of the world’s most renowned adventurers and the first person in the world to have completed climbing the seven highest mountains on the Seven Continents twice including Mt Everest from Nepal and Tibet. As an accomplished best selling author and filmmaker, Pat has inspired audiences from around the world with his inspirational tales and learnings.

As a businessman, Pat Falvey weathered booms and busts, and over his life as an entrepreneur, he experienced the hunger for success, the yearning for more, the disappointment of failures, and the satisfaction of achievement. For his success, Pat has also suffered great costs personally and to his family in a rags-to-riches story that finally led to a contented, balanced life.

As a concerned citizen of the world, Pat Falvey has seen first hand a changing planet. These changes hold frightening consequences for us as humans: the effects of global warming, climate change, population explosion and the destruction of ethnic cultures by colonizing forces.

  • Reach for the Sky

In Reach for the Sky, Pat tells his life story, accompanied by stunning photography and videos from some of the most beautiful and remote place on the planet. He takes audiences on a riveting journey that begins in Cork city and reaches the heights of business success before plummeting the depths of loss and despair during the 1980s’ economic recession. He tells of his reinvention as an adventurer, learning his craft in the mountains of Ireland and Europe before going on to reach the summit of some of highest mountains in the Himalaya including Mount Everest twice before successfully leading a team to the South Pole and making several attempts to reach the notoriously elusive North Pole. He talks about life after extreme adventure and the challenges of the future for people like himself who see life as an adventure to be lived to the full no matter what age you are.
  • Operation Everest

In Operation Everest Pat outlines in detail how goals are set and achieved. Based on the approach he has taken to major expeditions and which has allowed him to twice reach the summit of Everest, to complete the first Irish traverse of the Greenland Ice Cap and to head the first Irish-led team to the South Pole, he has identified exactly what it is individuals and teams need to set goals, take the necessary action to reach their milestones, honor their journey and keep focused on the realization of their dreams.
Pat is a remarkable man and his story is a testimony to the strength of the human spirit in the face of adversity.

— Stephen Divine, Managing Director , TransAmerica International

We were delighted to have Pat Falvey agree to work with us at the European Insurance Forum in the Four Seasons Hotel. Pat’s attention to detail and professionalism in his preparation was impressive, but his presentation and delivery on the night blew us away. His story was fascinating, riveting, engaging and at times emotionally charged. We recommend him unreservedly and hope to have him back speaking at one of our events again very soon.

— Marie Griffin, General Manager, Event Management International

The reaction from everyone present was quite phenomenal and the general feeling was that it was the best presentation they have ever attended. I found it enlightening and inspirational and was struck by the incredible results that ensue from good teamwork and determination to achieve one’s goals. Your entire talk was honest, open and hugely motivational. Your visuals of some of your conquests were deeply moving, especially of the Mount Everest ascent.
