Andy Grammer Speaker Profile: At A Glance

Andy Grammer is a multi-platinum American singer-songwriter and producer who writes upbeat pop anthems about optimism, resilience and relationships. He broke out busking on Santa Monica’s Third Street Promenade, signed with S-Curve Records, and scored a Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 with “Honey, I’m Good.” His albums include Andy Grammer (2011), Magazines or Novels (2014), Naive (2019) and Monster (2024).

Andy Grammer is a multi-platinum singer-songwriter, musician and record producer based in Los Angeles whose work blends pop, rock and soul into audience-friendly anthems. He began performing publicly as a busker on Santa Monica’s Third Street Promenade, a formative period he credits with sharpening his live craft and songwriting. After being discovered by manager Ben Singer, Grammer signed with S-Curve Records and released his self-titled debut in 2011. Across albums and touring, Grammer has built a catalog of radio hits and sync favorites. “Honey, I’m Good” reached No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 and went multi-platinum; other widely heard singles include “Keep Your Head Up,” “Fresh Eyes,” “Good to Be Alive (Hallelujah),” and “Don’t Give Up on Me.” He has performed at SXSW, A Capitol Fourth and on national television, and contributed “Don’t Give Up on Me” to the Five Feet Apart soundtrack. His 2024 album, Monster, continues his run of high-energy releases. Grammer frames his creative work around what he calls “life-proof” songs—tracks written to articulate common experiences people struggle to express—and he approaches touring and songwriting with a discipline that often begins with writing large volumes of material (he has described writing more than a hundred songs for a single album cycle). His background—son of recording artist Red Grammer, trained on trumpet, guitar and piano, and a graduate of California State University, Northridge’s music industry program—anchors both his craft and his message of perseverance and joy.
