In 2009, Rich became a Global Market Research Analyst for Prudential Financial. During her tenure, she conducted over 70 financial behavior studies, including the Obama Veterans Initiative. After leaving Prudential, Rich founded The Wealth Factory, with a mission to provide equal access to financial literacy worldwide. Her company designs financial literacy education technology games under the WealthyLife brand, aiming to transform financial marketing into financial education. The Wealth Factory's objectives include reducing poverty, increasing financial literacy, boosting financial product ownership, and building better financial ecosystems.
In 2017, Rich released her first book, The History of the Black Dollar, with a foreword by Dr. Maya Rockeymoore. The book takes readers on a historical journey, highlighting key economic milestones, historic figures, and emerging leaders. Later that year, Rich was named Hamptonian of the Year and contributed to the founding of the Hampton University Entrepreneurship and Innovation Institute. She has also been recognized as part of the 2016 HBCU 30 Under 30, Hampton 40 Under 40, and Google Top 30 Black Female Founders.
