Aziz Ansari is a writer, comedian, and actor best known for his roles on NBC’s “Parks and Recreation” and in the comedy “30 Minutes or Less.” He is the creator and star of the Netflix series Master of None, for which he won several acting and writing awards, including two Emmys and a Golden Globe for Best Actor – Television Series Musical or Comedy. With his Golden Globe win, Ansari became the first Indian American and Asian American actor to win a Golden Globe for acting in television.
His first book, Modern Romance: An Investigation, was released in June 2015, and provides research information exploring the change in romantic society that has occurred in the past decade. The book received The Goodreads Choice Award for Non-Fiction in 2015.
In 2016, Ansari was included in the Time 100 list of most influential people.
