Beth Stelling is a comedian, writer and actress based in Los Angeles. Her one hour stand-up special produced by Conan O'Brien is currently streaming on HBO Max. Beth was most recently an ESE on TBS' THE LAST OG. Before that, she was an on-set writer on the Universal hit, GOOD BOYS, produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. She also wrote on seasons 1 and 2 of CRASHING for HBO (and was the on-set punch-up writer for both seasons), Seth Rogen’s HILARITY FOR CHARITY, and Sarah Silverman’s Hulu show I LOVE YOU, AMERICA. Beth’s half hour special currently streams in THE STANDUPS series for Netflix.
Beth Stelling is a Los Angeles-based stand-up comedian, writer, and actress known for her sharp wit and engaging storytelling. Born on April 9, 1986, in Oakwood, Ohio, she pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre at Miami University, graduating magna cum laude in 2007.
Stelling began her comedy career in Chicago, joining the Chicago Underground Comedy scene and co-hosting a Sunday night variety show called "Entertaining Julia" at Town Hall Pub. Her talent was recognized in 2010 when The Chicago Reader named her "Best Stand-up Comedian." This accolade led to her selection as a "New Face of Comedy" at Montreal's Just for Laughs Festival. In 2011, she relocated to Los Angeles, where she quickly made her mark by debuting on "CONAN" and releasing her first comedy album, "Sweet Beth."
Throughout her career, Stelling has appeared on various television programs, including "Jimmy Kimmel Live!," "The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail," and "@midnight." In 2015, she released her half-hour special as part of Comedy Central's "The Half Hour," followed by another special, "Boner Appétit to You." Her 2020 hour-long special, "Girl Daddy," produced by Conan O'Brien and Team Coco, premiered on HBO Max to critical acclaim.
As a writer, Stelling has contributed to several notable projects, including HBO's "Crashing," TBS's "The Last O.G.," and Comedy Central's "Another Period." She also lent her voice to an episode of "Rick and Morty" on Adult Swim. In 2021, she had a recurring role on Peacock's "Rutherford Falls," starring opposite Ed Helms and Jana Schmieding.
