Brian Scalabrine is a former NBA player and current television analyst for the Boston Celtics. Born on March 18, 1978, in Long Beach, California, he grew up in Enumclaw, Washington. Scalabrine played college basketball at the University of Southern California, where he was a standout forward. He was selected by the New Jersey Nets in the second round of the 2001 NBA Draft and spent four seasons with the team, including appearances in the 2002 and 2003 NBA Finals. In 2005, Scalabrine signed with the Boston Celtics, where he played for five seasons and won an NBA Championship in 2008.
