Her father, Gerald Ishibashi, is a concert promoter and musician, while her mother, Lisa Ishibashi, is a singer. Brittany's maternal grandmother, Mary Nomura, was renowned as the "songbird of Manzanar," a testament to the family's rich musical heritage. Growing up in this environment, Brittany developed a passion for performing arts early on. She pursued her education at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), majoring in theater at the School of Theater, Film, and Television.
