Brock Huard is a former NFL quarterback and seasoned sports broadcaster who has recently transitioned into coaching to support his son's high school football journey. Born on April 15, 1976, in Seattle, Washington, Huard was raised in a football-centric family. His father, Mike Huard, was a high school football coach, and both of his brothers also played quarterback at the collegiate level. Brock himself was a standout at Puyallup High School, earning Gatorade National Player of the Year honors in 1994. He went on to play for the University of Washington Huskies, setting over 20 school records and leading the team to a Rose Bowl victory. In 1999, Huard was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the third round of the NFL Draft. He played six seasons in the NFL, including stints with the Indianapolis Colts and a return to the Seahawks.
