Cenk Aydin is the Founder and Managing Partner of Halikarnas Financial Services and Advisory, a global strategic advisory firm. He previously served as Head of the Corporate Segment for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at J.P. Morgan. With over 20 years of experience in global finance, Aydin has advised governments, Fortune 500 companies, and family offices on complex growth and investment strategies. He is known for his deep expertise in emerging markets, corporate transformation, and leadership in high-stakes financial environments.
Cenk Aydın began his journey in finance in 1999, joining Citigroup’s Management Associate program in New York. He quickly rose through the ranks, taking on roles in global strategy, client coverage and the natural resources sector from New York to London. Along the way, he served as Chief Operating Officer for Bank of America’s EMEA Corporate & Investment Bank—guiding major corporate expansion and transaction initiatives across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
In 2010, Aydın was recognized as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum—an early indicator of his global influence. Later, he became Head of the Corporate Segment for EMEA at J.P. Morgan, leading complex deal-making and advising Fortune 500 companies, governments, and institutional clients across emerging and developed markets.
Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, he founded Halikarnas Financial Services & Advisory (HFSA), where he now serves as Founder and Managing Partner. Under his leadership, HFSA supports growth strategies, investment structuring, and corporate transformation across technology, energy, and finance sectors globally.
Aydın also chairs Lara Holdings and Investments BV, focusing on scalable technology and energy investments across Europe, the U.S., and Turkey. He earned a BA in Economics and an MBA in Corporate Finance and Marketing and completed public policy fellowship studies at Harvard Kennedy School.
An active voice in global affairs, he contributes to the EastWest Institute’s advisory council and sits on the board of Relief International. He cares deeply about the future of work, sustainable growth, and economic inclusion. He lives in Istanbul, often by the Bosphorus, where he balances family life with a career at the intersection of finance, innovation, and purpose.
