Cheyenne Hunt Speaker Profile: At A Glance

Cheyenne Hunt is a rising democratic commentator who brings a fresh perspective to political discussions. With expertise in big tech, women's issues, the legal system, foreign policy, and the economy, she is actively preparing for a future in politics. Her greatest ambition is to eliminate poverty, advocating for civil rights and transparency in the tech industry. Cheyenne's thought-provoking writing and compelling social media content have garnered media attention, positioning her as a prominent figure in the media landscape. With aspirations to run for Congress, she aims to advocate for policies that address inequality.

Cheyenne Hunt is the Founder and Executive Director of Reckoning Action. She is an attorney, organizer, and advocate who has spent her career at the intersection of law, policy, and movement-building, moving between the courtroom, Capitol Hill, and the United Nations in service of justice and human rights. The daughter of a single mother and the descendant of Syrian refugees, Hunt was the first in her family to graduate from college, earning dual degrees in political science and public policy before going on to UC Irvine School of Law. On Capitol Hill, she became a law clerk for Senator Amy Klobuchar's office, working with the Senate Judiciary Committee. As an attorney, she has consistently fought for women to get the justice they deserve. She drafted motions to the United Nations on gender equity and defended undocumented survivors of sexual violence in court, securing visa protections that kept her clients safe. She also worked as a Big Tech Accountability Advocate for Public Citizen, drafting federal legislation on social media accountability and democracy-focused technology policy and advising the White House and the FTC on technology and democracy reform. Hunt is the former Executive Director of Gen-Z for Change, one of the country's leading progressive narrative change and advocacy organizations, mobilizing the largest generation of voters in American history through creator networks, coalition campaigns, and a sophisticated command of how political narratives are won and lost in the digital era. In April 2026, she helped break one of the most consequential political misconduct stories in recent memory. Working from a group chat with two other women, she helped force a sitting seven-term congressman out of a gubernatorial frontrunner position and his congressional seat in eleven days, reigniting a national conversation about power, accountability, and the women who have been bearing the cost of both for far too long. She founded Reckoning Action because that fight deserves a permanent home.
