Noted by the New York Times as “one of the most sought-after hip-hop and popular music choreographers in the world," Fatima Robinson is a highly acclaimed Choreographer/Director working with artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell Williams, Rihanna, Black Eyed Peas, Mary J Blige, Halsey, Major Lazer, and many more. Renowned for her ability to blend classic dance styles with her distinct hip-hop flavor, Fatima has choreographed notable spots including Chanel, Target, H&M, Gap, Burberry, Pepsi, and iPod. She has directed music videos for Megan Trainor, Fifth Harmony, and others.

Robinson’s craft transcends beyond the music world into film and television as well. Fatima’s choreography has been featured on shows such as The Oscars, The Voice, So You Think You Can Dance, Blackish, Grownish, and The Grammys. Fatima’s choreography of the Academy Awards made history as she was the second African American woman to ever do so. She also notably choreographed NBC’s live television production of “The Wiz,” the 2011 Super Bowl Halftime show with Black Eyed Peas, and  Coachella’s infamous Tupac Hologram.

Additionally, Robinson choreographed the critically acclaimed film Coming to America 2, Dreamgirls, Netflix’s Harder They Fall, Space Jam 2, Charlie Wilson’s War, American Gangster, Public Enemy, Ali, as well as working with stars like Will Smith, Halle Berry, Eddie Murphy, Colin Farrell, John Travolta, Uma Thurman, The Rock, Sandra Bullock, Don Cheadle, Thandie Newton, Queen Latifah, and Academy Award-winning directors such as Michael Mann, Mike Nichols, and Ridley Scott. Along with her choreography, Fatima has also served as Creative Producer for The Voice and the 2021 Grammys, as well as Executive Producer for the VH1 Hip Hop Honors, Taking the Stage. She has been the creative director behind notable events such as the Grammy’s, the American Music Awards, BET Awards, X-Factor, and more.
