He was an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at UCLA for more than twenty years, is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and expanded his work to training FBI and police hostage negotiators and was selected as one of the America’s Top Psychiatrist by the Consumers Research Council in 2005, 2006, 2010, 2011.
