Mary Steenburgen Speaking Fee: $75,000 to $100,000

Academy Award and Golden Globe winning actress Mary Steenburgen is a Hollywood veteran, having appeared in countless roles on the big and small screen. Steenburgen is known for her Oscar nominated work in “Melvin and Howard” in addition to unforgettable roles in “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape,” “Stepbrothers,” and television shows such as FOX’s critically acclaimed comedy series “The Last Man on Earth,” FX’s “Justified,” Netflix’s “Orange is the New Black,” HBO’s “Togetherness” and HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” Recently, Steenburgen starred in Focus Features’ “Book Club: The Next Chapter” opposite Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, and Candice Bergen, which was released in theaters on May 12th, 2023. In addition to starring in the film, Steenburgen (along with Troy Verges and Caitlyn Smith) wrote "Anywhere With You” for the end credits of the film. She and her three co-stars recorded the vocals. In 2018, the first installment was released to rave reviews with Indiewire calling it the most “charming movie” of the year. Steenburgen starred for two seasons as Maggie Clarke in NBC’s musical television sensation “Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist” alongside Jane Levy, Peter Gallagher and Skyler Astin. Upcoming, Steenburgen will star in the Josh Greenbaum directed comedy, “The Dink,” alongside Jake Johnson and Ed Harris. Produced by Ben Stiller’s Red Hour Films and Rivulet Films, the film follows a washed-up tennis pro, who, in trying to save a club in crisis and win his father’s respect, is forced to break a solemn vow and do the one thing he swore he’d never do: play pickleball. Steenburgen will also appear in the film, “Let’s Have Kids!,” directed by Adam Sztykiel. Starring Karen Gillan and Zoe Chao, the comedy feature tells the story of lifelong best friends who decide to have children at the same time and navigate motherhood together, until their friendship is tested when only one of them gets pregnant. Steenburgen will appear alongside Sam Richardson, Max Greenfield, K.J. Appa, and Ed Begley Jr.. In addition to her work in film and television, Steenburgen is an award-winning songwriter for Universal Music Publishing Group and has collaborated with acclaimed artists in Nashville and Los Angeles such as Tim McGraw, Kate York, Caitlyn Smith, Troy Verges, Lori McKenna and many others. Along with co-writers Troy Verges and Caitlyn Smith, Steenburgen wrote “See Me” for the upcoming animated film, “10 Lives,” which will be performed as a duet by Zayn Malik and Simone Ashley Steenburgen co-wrote the song “Glasgow (No Place Like Home)” with Nashville songwriters Kate York and Caitlyn Smith for NEON’s critically acclaimed film WILD ROSE. In addition to the song being shortlisted for an Academy Award for Best Original Song, “Glasgow” also won both the Critics' Choice Award and the Hollywood Critics Association Award for Best Original Song. Steenburgen co-wrote “North Star,” performed by Tori Kelly for Roku original film “Zoey’s Extraordinary Christmas.” She has also written songs for films including “Last Vegas” and “Dirty Girl” (co-written with Melissa Manchester) and is currently writing the music for the animated film adaptation of the book "The Underneath.” Her additional film and television credits include: “30 Rock,” “Bored to Death,” and “Wilfred,” “Goin’ South,” “Time After Time, “Ragtime, “Philadelphia,” “Back to the Future,” “Cross Creek,” “Midsummer Night’s Sex Comedy,” “Miss Firecracker,” “The Proposal,” “Elf,” “Dirty Girl,” “Four Christmases,” “The Help,” “Last Vegas” and “Song One.” A proud member of the Atlantic Theater Company, Steenburgen’s theater credits include Holiday (London’s Old Vic, directed by Lindsay Anderson), Candida, Marvin’s Room, The Beginning of August, The Exonerated.
