Kennedy Speaker Profile: At A Glance

Page Kennedy’s road to Hollywood spans across the country beginning in the Midwest where his remarkable talent was discovered at Western Michigan University.

Page Kennedy's journey to Hollywood began in the Midwest, where his talent was discovered at Western Michigan University. Born in Detroit, Page spent his early years in Los Angeles with his mother before returning to Detroit to live with his father. Encouraged by his father to pursue medicine, Page initially envisioned a career in football. However, after his father’s death when he was 16, Page decided to honor his father’s dream of him attending college while carving his own path. At Western Michigan University, Page was introduced to the world of Shakespeare by a mentor who recognized his potential. He quickly embraced Shakespearean prose, mastering its nuances with remarkable skill. His exceptional performances caught the attention of 17 graduate theater programs, leading to a competitive bidding war. Page ultimately chose the University of Delaware, where he focused on Shakespeare through intense training. After seven months, he moved back to Los Angeles, armed with a headshot and determination. He landed his first role on CBS’s The Kennedys (2001) through a bold move—sneaking into Sony’s studios to deliver his resume and headshot. Following his debut, Page appeared on hit shows such as The Shield (2002), Six Feet Under (2001), and Life at Five Feet (2002). His talent soon extended to film, with a standout performance as the villainous Travis Shipley in S.W.A.T. (2003) alongside Samuel L. Jackson, Colin Farrell, and LL Cool J. He also starred in Leprechaun: Back 2 tha Hood (2003), where his comedic portrayal of Jamie Davis earned comparisons to Smokey from Friday (1995). With a strong foundation in theater, Page is poised for a dynamic career on screen. Influenced by icons like Denzel Washington, Laurence Fishburne, and Michael Jackson, he continues to grow as an artist. A father of two, Page resides in Los Angeles, balancing his passion for acting with his love for music, basketball, and creative writing. Whether honing his Shakespearean craft or writing rhymes—a talent he has pursued since age seven—Page’s versatility and drive remain at the core of his success.
