Dr. Rod Berger is a big-ideas thinker who takes conversations to new and deeper territory, ensures well-rounded and thoughtful discussions, and brings stories to life. From NBA legends like Magic Johnson and Charles Barkley, to global icons like the Pope and the Crown Princess of Sweden, he uncovers insights that inspire, connect, and resonate across audiences.

Dr. Rod Berger has over two decades of experience, more than 4,000 interviews, and significant media authority (Forbes, Entrepreneur Magazine, podcast host, Editor at Large at Fair Observer) as a globally recognized storyteller and communication architect. Rod’s global audience includes politicians, social influencers, celebrities, professional athletes, iconic leaders, investors, corporations, NGOs, and entrepreneurs. He fosters trust while strategically building engaging relationships and consensus. Rod’s talent for capturing stories from individuals and locations worldwide began during his work in mental health, where he supported psychiatric hospitals, clinics, and schools across the country. For nearly two decades, he served as a guest lecturer at Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management, weaving storytelling into business objectives and personnel development. Currently serving as an advisor to the Refuge & Migrant Education Network and the educational non-profit Stand Up & Learn, Rod was commissioned in 2023 by WaterAid Sweden, WaterAid Uganda, and WaterAid Tanzania to capture cultural stories of impact in remote regions across the African continent. In recognition of his work, Rod received the inaugural Pangea International Literacy Award for his storytelling in Eastern Africa at the Imvepi Refugee Settlement. In 2024, he was recognized as a rising talent in the book Voices of the Future out of Dubai. Recently appointed as Editor-at-Large for Fair Observer, an international publication available in over 90 countries, Rod’s first book, The Narrative Edge, is scheduled for publication by Wiley in the fall of 2025. His podcast, Headroom with Dr. Rod Berger, features enlightening stories and conversations with former diplomats, intelligence officers, and current and former prime ministers, as well as esteemed authors and scholars. Rod has joined former Virgin Entertainment CEO, Jason Felts, on his global book tour providing moderated keynotes supporting Felts' National Best-Selling Book, Hollywood Virgin. He also shared the stage (moderated keynote) with 98-year-old Opal Lee, the 'Grandmother of Juneteenth' for the the American Camp Association's National conference in Dallas.
