Sophia Bush is an acclaimed actress, producer, activist, and entrepreneur. She is a member of the Directors Guild of America and has starred in an impressive range of television and film projects including “John Tucker Must Die,” “Incredibles 2,” the CW’s hit series “One Tree Hill,” Dick Wolf’s NBC hit series “Chicago PD,” and CBS’ “Good Sam.” Bush also starred in Bryan Greenberg’s directorial debut, “Junction.” The film, also featuring Bryan Greenberg, Jamie Chung, Ashley Madekwe, and Griffin Dunne, addressed the opioid crisis in America from various points of view. Alongside her business partner Nia Linder Batts, Bush is a General Partner and investor in Union Heritage Ventures, a majority African American and women-owned capital firm. The firm’s investments include Aunt Flow, Fashionkind, Thinx, and PenPal Schools among others. Bush and Batts were also named Strategic Advisors of First Women’s Bank alongside Billie Jean King.
Bush also co-founded and sits on the board for I am a voter® which is a nonpartisan movement that aims to create a cultural shift around voting and civic engagement by unifying around a central truth: our democracy works best when we all participate. In 2021, Sophia joined Fashionkind as a co-founder and member of the advisory board.
