So much talent has come from the ranks of Second City’s many theaters over the years that it reads like a who’s who of contemporary American comedy.
Second City’s well-known alumni include John Belushi, Gilda Radner, Dan Aykroyd, John Candy, Mike Myers, Chris Farley, Tina Fey, Rachel Dratch, Steve Carell and Stephen Colbert, to name a few.
The work of Second City Communications involves some 250 writers, actors, directors, stage managers, musical directors, instructors, program designers, editors and production crew. Every single year, they work with groups as small as 4 and as large as 18,000. Second City has worked with the employees of over 400 Fortune 1000 companies.

The Second City Custom Show!
The most popular offering, custom shows are clean, one act revues (approx. 50-60 minutes) prepared and customized specifically for your company. A third of the show is made up of original scenes crafted by our writers and based on the day-to-day life of your company and business. The revue also includes equal parts "best of" Second City sketches and improvisation — all carefully chosen to fit your audience. You approve all content and we work hard to make it suitable to your organization.
The Production Process: Our "Custom Show" includes material written just for your occasion. To give you some insight into our process, we work through collaboration, meaning that you will be able to take part in the custom creation process of our scenes.
