Tom’s Emotion Into Art™ is described as taking his audience through an amazing journey of excitement, suspense, cheer, motivation and surprise. His ability to captivate his audience and share the experience of color, music, and action is a way to bring people into the world of art, inspiration and creativity.
Tom began his performance art career when he felt the need to express himself from capturing images with a camera for over 20 years to turning them into performance art on stage. During this period, Tom learned/practiced the painting techniques and performance styles of a few famous performance artists who thrilled audiences worldwide.
“I have always been passionate about art and the energy it can release. My passion for painting, especially the challenge of painting portraits, grew from varied sources; photography being one of many. Observing other artists has showed me how to use the SHOW part of the performance to drive home the real message of personal creativity, and how to let music and the audience drive the process to a dramatic conclusion. With Robert Channing’s encouragement, Tom launched his own performance career. Tom’s Emotion Into Art™ is a must see, his recent work has audiences “blown away”.
There is a simple message weaved throughout Tom’s entire show: Be yourself, be creative, follow your dreams and take chances. You never know what you might discover. Whatever your passion, do it with all of your heart.
Tom has been married for over 20 years to his high school sweetheart and has two beautiful daughters. As a professional photographer, he’s been running his portrait studio in upstate New York since the age of 19. He loves people and is passionate about helping and encouraging others.
