Alex Rice Speaking Fee: $10,000 and Below

Alex Rice, a Mohawk from the Kahnawake First Nation, spent a decade in Hollywood establishing her career and has been successful on stage, television and film, where she is perhaps best known for her role as Sue Clearwater in the hugely successful, Twilight film franchise. Alex starred opposite Adam Beach and Wes Studi, in the Chris Eyre directed PBS Mystery series, “Skinwalkers”, based on the bestselling Tony Hillerman novels. In addition to many guest-starring roles in the U.S. she has also starred in several critically acclaimed Canadian independent features, including the lead in Nathaniel Geary’s, On the Corner, which won Best Western Canadian Film at VIFF, and was also named one of Canada’s Top Ten films of 2003 by the jury at TIFF. In 2006, Alex played the lead role of real life Mohawk activist Ellen Gabriel, in the Gil Cardinal directed CBC miniseries, Indian Summer: The Oka Crisis. In 2023 she had the honor of working with legendary Quebec director, Denys Arcand in “Testament.” Her latest role, a Cree 60’s scoop survivor raised entirely in Belgium, who is reunited with her birth siblings in Tasha Hubbard’s award winning ensemble, “Meadowlarks,” won Alex the 2025 Vancouver Film Critics Circle Award for Best Supporting Female Actor in a Canadian Film as well as a nomination for “Outstanding Performance in Film” by ACTRA. Previous awards include the Motion Pictures Award presented by the American Indian Film Institute San Francisco for Best Actress (2003) and the First American Award (2005) presented by the First Americans in the Arts Committee Los Angeles. When not acting, Alex is a busy mom, a food sovereigntist and an awareness advocate for the Autistic and Neurodivergent Community to which she HERSELF belongs.
