Brad Graeber is the CEO and Chief Creative Officer of Powerhouse Animation Studios, a leading animation production company based in Austin, Texas. He co-founded the studio in 2001 with Bruce Tinnin and Frank Gabriel, drawing on their shared experience as animators at Zippity.com, an educational animation startup. Starting with small projects and a commitment to traditional animation techniques, Powerhouse gradually built a reputation for its high-quality work in both the gaming and entertainment industries. Under Graeber’s leadership, Powerhouse has developed and produced over 5,500 minutes of animation for major companies including Netflix, Disney, Sony, Marvel, DC Comics, and Coca-Cola. Notable projects include the Netflix series Castlevania, Seis Manos (which Graeber co-created and served as showrunner), and Blood of Zeus. The studio is also known for its work on Masters of the Universe: Revelation and upcoming series like Tomb Raider and Skull Island. Graeber holds a Master’s degree in Visualization Sciences from Texas A&M University, where he also served on the Industry Partners Council for the Visualization Sciences program. He has been involved in various film and education committees, including the advisory council for the Denius-Sams Gaming Academy at the University of Texas. Additionally, he is a member of the Producer’s Guild of America. Beyond his professional achievements, Graeber is passionate about martial arts and fight choreography. He has trained in Kendo, Muay Thai, boxing, and 7-star praying mantis and Hung-gar kung fu for over 20 years.
