Candice Crawford is a multifaceted professional whose career seamlessly blends media, entrepreneurship, and advocacy. Born on December 16, 1986, in Lubbock, Texas, she grew up in a family deeply rooted in the healing arts. Her father, Chris Crawford, is a dermatologist, and her mother, Dana Crawford, was a teacher before transitioning to homemaking. Candice's upbringing in Bloomington, Minnesota, and later in Dallas, Texas, provided a diverse cultural foundation. She graduated from Trinity Christian Academy in 2005 and pursued a degree in broadcast journalism at the University of Missouri, where she graduated in 2009. Candice's professional journey began in the world of beauty pageants, where she competed in Miss Texas Teen USA in 2003 and 2005, securing third runner-up positions both times. In 2008, she was crowned Miss Missouri USA and went on to place in the top 10 at the Miss USA competition. Her pageant experience laid the groundwork for her subsequent career in media. While studying at the University of Missouri, she worked as a reporter and sports anchor at KOMU-TV, a local NBC affiliate. During her college years, she also interned with the Dallas Cowboys, reporting for their CBS segment, "The Blitz." After graduating, Candice joined CW33 (KDAF) in Dallas, where she covered high school sports, festivals, and events. She hosted "Up All Night," a show highlighting Dallas nightlife, and co-hosted "The RC Project," a lifestyle segment, as well as "Special Edition," the Dallas Cowboys' weekend sports show.
