Jeff “Swampy” Marsh is an animator, writer, and producer best known as the co-creator of Disney Channel’s Phineas and Ferb. An Emmy Award winner, he has also served as executive producer and voice actor on the series, which became a global hit. With a career spanning animation, songwriting, and storytelling, Marsh is known for creating imaginative, character-driven worlds that blend humor, heart, and music for audiences of all ages.

Emmy Award winning animation icon Jeff "Swampy" Marsh is co-creator and executive producer of the mega-hit and beloved animated series “Phineas and Ferb” on Disney Channel and Disney+, and he is the voice of Perry the Platypus’s commanding officer, Major Francis Monogram. Marsh is renowned for co-creating and executive-producing Disney’s five-time Emmy Award- winning series “Phineas and Ferb,” for which he earned eight nominations. Along with his “Phineas and Ferb” co-creator, Dan Povenmire, Marsh also co-created and executive-produced Disney’s “Milo Murphy’s Law,” an animated series that followed 13-year-old Milo Murphy, the great-great-great-great grandson of the Murphy’s Law namesake. In addition to his role on “Phineas and Ferb,” Marsh co-created and Executive Produced the recently released animated preschool series “Hey A.J.”, developed by his Surfing Giant Studios in association with Disney Junior and based on the books by Super Bowl champion Martellus Bennett. The series is a whimsical and music-filled family comedy about an imaginative young girl who turns ordinary moments into something extraordinary. Over the past 25 years, Marsh has worked for many of the top names in animation, including Hanna-Barbera and Klasky Csupo. He also worked on multiple critically acclaimed animated series, including “The Simpsons,” “Rocko’s Modern Life” and “King of the Hill.” Marsh lived in England for six years, where he worked on various BBC animated projects. Additionally, he spearheaded the production of several feature films and series for the UK-based BKN New Media Ltd. He created and produced two seasons of the critically acclaimed preschool series “Pete the Cat” through his independent studio, Surfer Jack Productions, based in Venice, California. Born in Santa Monica, California, Marsh resides in Venice, where he loves to surf. He is an active volunteer for A Walk On Water, an organization that provides Surf therapy for children with special needs and their families. He has two children and four grandchildren. Adding to his legacy, he is the maternal Grandson of renowned big band leader, Les Brown. It’s no wonder he has a finely tuned sense of musical artistry, it’s in his DNA.
