Victoria Nolan is a World Champion rower, longtime Team Canada athlete, author, Executive MBA graduate and leadership keynote speaker who brings a unique perspective on what it takes for people and teams to perform at their best under pressure. After losing her sight, Victoria went on to compete internationally for Canada for 14 years, challenging assumptions about what was possible and learning firsthand that high performance is never achieved alone. Today, she combines lessons from elite sport with her experience as an executive leader to help organizations build stronger cultures through trust, clear communication, adaptability and interdependence. Her signature keynote, Teamwork Unleashed: Building Teams That Trust, Communicate and Adapt, draws audiences into stories from high-performance rowing, leadership and her partnership with her guide dog, Chorizo. Through these experiences, Victoria demonstrates why the strongest leaders do not simply say, “I’ve got it”—they create teams that can confidently say, “We’ve got it.” Victoria is an Executive MBA graduate of the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University and brings extensive leadership experience across sport, education and the nonprofit sector. She is the author of Beyond Vision: The Story of a Blind Rower and co-author of Refocus: The Essential Guide to Living a Happy and Successful Life with Vision Loss. Her life story is also the subject of the feature film Blindly Victorious, which received the Audience Choice Award for Best Feature Film following its sold-out festival premiere. Through powerful storytelling, practical leadership tools and an unforgettable personal journey, Victoria challenges audiences to rethink independence, embrace the power of interdependence and discover what becomes possible when people truly learn to perform together.
